Valentine's Day Letter in Creative Ways#1

Oooopss.. It's already March but this is just the time I'm going to share the Valentines letter I have given my boyfriend. Wew! Too much work in the office that I need to catch up with my posts.

First thing first, I want you to know that I made this card on Valentines Day per se in the office while on a lunch break. Limited time, so I need to hurry up to finish the card.

My inspiration in doing this card is an illustration I have seen in this site while looking for Valentines idea in the net. What I have made is some modification since I want to make a card.

This is the inside drawing of my card. A boy and a girl, holding each other with hearts.

The next thing to do is to color the  drawing, see my inspirations on this card. They're not exactly the same because I am not an expert. But at least, the drawing is OK. *i think so. Click this site to see my reference.

I'm done with the colors. And to make this more awesome, I'm going to put our pictures as 'head' on the drawing.

Here it goes. I've cut a picture of my bf and my picture and paste it on each drawing.

Dararan! Surprise! How I paste the picture is, I paste it first on a piece of paper. Draw a neck that will serve as a support as you will fold the picture.

The problem I have encountered is, because I'm doing this on my lunch break, I have limited time. As you can see, the picture of my bf is better than mine because I used my picture as the first sample. I've got an error in folding that I need to remove it and paste it again which result to picture damage. But, I didn't mind it. As long as my BF's picture is OK because its my gift to him.

The dress has a ribbon. I put a gem in the middle to make it extravagant. It is shining, shimmering, splendid!

At the side of the girl, I have write this: in God's will, I'm going to marry the man I'm holding hands with. ♥

valentines letter
In my BF's side, I have write this: (it was written in my own dialect, I'll translate it) hey, Rommel that is you! Go and marry me. :p (Pressure? he-he. Nope. It's actually my sweet way of pressuring him. lols)

That's it! done with the inside page.

Here is the front view of the card. Since you paste the neck at the front of the card, you have to cover it and that's what I did. I choose these two colors because these are my favorite colors. I have blurred the message on the front because the message is for my BF's eyes only.

Here is the back view.

Done! Wew! I've beaten the lunch break time. :) This is cool.

I find this really cute! I have borrowed the card from my boyfriend, since I need to document it for my blog. I picture it on our window. ♥
